Digital Marketing Executive (Full Time)

Reporting To:              Head Of Global Analytics

Salary:                          Up To £30,000

 

Role Overview:

Since 2004, Fancensus has been providing in-depth business and communication analytics, to video games and movie companies, globally. Being situated in the picturesque, historic village of Cookham in Berkshire, within easy walking distance of the train station and the river Thames, gives our busy Head Office a relaxed atmosphere.

Some of us are long standing veterans of the video games industry, others are just starting out on their journey, but all of us are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about games!

Our rapid growth in the global games sector means we’re now seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive that can create content, materials and implement promotional campaigns throughout the year. You will also be responsible for developing our brand, website and social identities.


Core Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of the games industry, or be an avid games player that enjoys a range of Indie / Mid-tier games not just mainstream Call of Duty and FIFA
  • Have good writing skills, a clear advantage would be if you have written a game related blog or have written features on a website
  • Have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / In-Design
  • Can create video content and edit footage with Camtasia or another video editing package
  • Expert knowledge of Powerpoint / Excel and Word
  • Possibly had some customer facing roles in the past and feels comfortable working with clients when needed.
  • Analytical – the ability to interpret data would be a distinct advantage


Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Global Analytics, this role will be hands-on in the day-to-day creation of sales and marketing materials. You will be responsible in managing our database of clients and potential customers, and release content that will engage a community and encourage our profile in the games sector. You will understand how to position content, create the material and circulate it on the correct platform, be that a digital mailshot, LinkedIn, Social or on websites in which we need to create strong relationships with.

You will need to learn our analytics platform and be able to prepare dashboards that delve into topical subjects in order to create content. This platform is proprietary to Fancensus and is constantly evolving. The ability to keep pace is a must.

You will be a self-starter, having had some office based working experience already. You will need to be progressive in your ideas, always needing to think on your feet and tackle issues positively. The role has scope to head up the Marketing department in the future and build a team of content creators as we develop the Fancensus brands globally.

This is a hybrid role with some days in the office and some days working from home.
